** “Mr X”… Another good book to read in the Fantasy/Horror/Supernatural genre. I read it recently and found it very interesting in its concepts, it reminded me, in some parts, of TC Boyle’s “World’s end”. (Although, TC Boyle is not a fantasy writer as such.) Good story.

On her deathbed, she tells him the name of his long-absent father and warns Ned that he is in great danger. Despite her warning, he sets out on a search through Edgerton’s past for the truth behind his own identity and that of his strange and fantastic family. But when Ned becomes the lead suspect in three violent deaths, he begins to realize that he is not the only one who has come home………

“Vernon God Little”………

I book that I have recently read that I found very entertaining, funny in places and reminds me of my years of teenage angst. It also gives an insight into the US Justice system and resulting media circus that ensues, (colouring the evidence by sentiment and knee-jerk reactions.) To quote Vernon ‘fucken good!’
